Kelli using a mini band, dumbbell and resistance band

I really believe you can get an amazing full body workout with zero equipment, all you need is your body weight! However, I decided to come up with my top three equipment needs to get a great workout at home. Here’s my list along with some recommended exercises for each!

1. Miniband

Often called a booty band for a reason, your booty workouts need a miniband, trust me! 

  • Donkey kicks
  • Side steps
  • Wall sits with abductions
  • Clams

2. Dumbbells

Nothing fancy here folks, just get yourself a pair of dumbbells. Core, legs, arms, basically any part of your body can be worked.

  • Presses
  • Tricep extensions
  • Weighted lunges
  • Russian twist

3. Resistance band

First you push, then you pull. To balance out those dumbbell workouts, a resistance band, band with handles, or whatever else you want to call it, is a great tool!

  • Squats
  • Full arm extensions
  • Rows
  • Curls
